Our Story
Once upon a time at the University of Cincinnati, a dashing and intelligent prince, Michael Alexander, met a beautiful and fiesty princess, Yakaira Ramos... *sparks flew* but it would take eight years for God to create the perfect night and conversation to spark the incredible love story that they are currently living.

Michael and Yakaira first met and developed a friendship through their participation in the Darwin T. Turner Scholarship Program at the University of Cincinnati and through their summer Co-Op at Toyota in 2005. After both graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Michael and Yakaira went their own separate ways without realizing that they had both just met their future husband and wife.

Eight years (2002-2010) of knowing each other passed before God created the perfect night and conversation on May 1, 2010 to spark the incredible love story that they are currently living. After almost two years of sharing their lives together, Michael Alexander proposed to Yakaira Ramos on December 27, 2012 in *Spanish* by saying these four little words...
"¿Te quieres casar conmigo?"
After immediate shock and tears, Yakaira said, "Of course!" Shortly thereafter, they picked Saturday, June 8th of 2013 as the date to celebrate and share their LOVE with loved ones.
Our Honeymoon
